Summary Jury Trial
Trials can be costly, long, arduous and emotionally draining. Thankfully, certain counties in New York have developed an alternative to the traditional week long jury trial called a summary jury trial. These trials last one day and are a relief for jurors, lawyers and most importantly litigants.
Not all cases are amenable to summary jury trials. But if both sides wish to save costs and obtain a quick resolution these trials are the way to go.
